A New House of Tomorrow
February 5 - May 29, 2022
Inspired by George Fred Keck’s original House of Tomorrow, members of the Elmhurst Art Museum's Teen Art Council propose a "new house of tomorrow". Their installation presents a home that aims to address environmental and social concerns over the next one hundred years.
From researching contemporary architecture and sustainable building practices, Teen Art Council proposes a house design that aims to heal the environment. Focusing on how each room and feature can address critical issues, their design identifies ways that might support a more sustainable way of living. This is emphasized within three major parts: the interior, the exterior, and the structure itself.

Teen Art council is co-lead by Joseph Hladik, Director of Education & Grants Administrator, and Vincent Lotesto, Education Programs Fellow.Support provided by DuPage Foundation.
